Dan Hurwitz, .NET Architect
Dan is a developer, mentor, author, instructor, and consultant working with
clients for over 20 years. He got his start working with early CAD systems and
other graphics software, then moved on to database development in the Paradox
world. He has been involved with Microsoft .NET development since its inception,
co-authoring two O'Reilly books with Jesse Liberty: Programming ASP.NET (3rd
edition) and Programming .NET Windows Applications. Along the way, he has
designed and developed many applications for both web and desktop, all
database-intensive. When not working or doing something with his family, he can
often be found on one of his bikes. Dan has a B.S. in (of all things) Ceramic
Science from Penn State University.
Jesse Liberty, .NET Architect
Jesse is a contract programmer, author, instructor, architect, analyst, and
consultant. Over 20 years experience delivering successful commercial
applications on-time and under-budget. Best-selling author, Microsoft MVP;
listed in Wikipedia as a .Net expert. Taught software development to over 10,000
students (on-line and on-site, as well as at Brandeis and Harvard Universities,
numerous industry events and other public presentations). He is very well known
and respected in the .Net lecture circuit.
Robert Hurlbut, .NET Security Architect
Robert has over 18 years of experience in the industry as software architect,
developer, speaker, author, and security and database consultant. He is a
Microsoft MVP for Security Development. Robert specializes in Microsoft .NET,
application security, distributed architectures, and database architecture and
development. He has spoken at industry conferences, including WIN-DEV, New
England Code Camp, Heartland Developers Conference, DevTeach, and VSLive!. He
also writes articles about security and database development and wrote the
Security chapter for the book Programming Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Robert has
served as a consultant to such companies as Bain, Fidelity Investments, and
Staples.
Sunil Chavan, Project Manager
A PostGraduate in Statistics from University of Pune, Sunil joined Tata
Burroughs Limited (known as Tata Infotech Limited today) in 1979. Sunil spent
eight years working on several technical projects spanning complete software
development life cycle, including pre-sales, bid preparation, project
management. For next three years Sunil was involved in setting up an offshore
development center within Tata Burroughs for a large multinational company.
Subsequently Sunil moved from technical work to take a Business Development role
at Mahindra British Telecom. MBT was in its formative stages in 1990, when Sunil
took over the reins of its UK operations. Sunil set up the UK office and grew
business from Rs. 12 million to Rs. 350 million in 6 years. While registering a
near 100% growth in business per year, Sunil acquired a degree in Marketing
Management from University of Westminster in London.
Gary Southard, Business Analyst
Gary is a senior business and technology manager with many years of experience
in planning, developing, and implementing web-based software, platforms and
eCommerce systems. As Director of Engineering at Providus Software Solutions he
managed the creation of multiple releases of Risk Resolve, an operational risk
and compliance management product for large financial institutions. As Vice
President of Application Engineering Services at Deutsche Asset Management /
Scudder Investments Gary was responsible for building an eCommerce
infrastructure and launching over 19 personalized public, investor, and business
to business web sites. Gary launched CMGi owned Planet Direct, a high-volume
consumer portal site that quickly grew to over 500,000 registered users and was
later renamed MyWay.com. Gary received his MBA from the University of
Massachusetts at Lowell.
Bako Sreeram, Senior Developer / Team Lead
Bako has over 25 years of experience in the computer science industry. Starting
his career as a programmer, he handled various responsibilities of the entire
Software Development Life Cycle. Bako worked in Silicon Valley for 12 years
(1986 – 1998) developing and managing software projects with companies such as
Tandem, Santa Clara Valley Health Dept, Lockheed Martin, NASD(AQ), Safeway etc..
The experience of working with international firms helped him understand the
strict quality adherence expected by international clients. QA and Processes has
been his main forte. Bako brings the CMM level 5 processes to Keene Systems.
Bako has undergone Visual Studio 2005 training from Microsoft and has developed
/ managed development of applications using .Net 2.0 framework.
Caroline Bogart, Senior Software Engineer
Caroline has over 17 years experience in software development. She specializes
in C#, VB.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, ADO.NET, ASP.NET web development, IIS,
Visual Studio.NET, JavaScript, VBScript, ASP and Visual Basic. Caroline's career
spans back to writing Assembly Language programs for IBM 3090 and PDP-11
machines. Caroline has created or enhanced eCommerce products, shopping cart web
sites, newspaper classified advertising system components, data translation
libraries, content management systems and Ektron’s web-based editor eWebEditPro.
Caroline is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in ASP.NET web development.
She created and ran the Greater Nashua Software Entrepreneur Group’s
Schoolhouse, dedicated to teaching unemployed software engineers .NET
programming by building a web site for the non-profit group The Way Home.
Caroline has taught ADO.NET and ASP.NET for two New Hampshire training
companies. Caroline created the curriculum for and taught a four-month C#,
ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Visual Studio.NET boot camp for the software engineers at the
Concord Insurance Group. She has written software for Crosfield Systems, Camex,

Digital Equipment Corporation, NHB Internet Services, BEA Systems, The National

Inc. Caroline has a BA from Goucher College where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa
in 1984. She graduated from The Chubb Institute's Software Engineering program
in 1988.

Purvi Thacker, Programmer
Purvi has over 9 years of IT development experience. Purvi has extensive
experience of Shipping & Real Estate industry. She has managed multiple
applications simultaneously and has a flawless track record of on-time on budget
delivery. Purvi’s technical skills span the entire range of Microsoft tools i.e.

Vrushali Ghatpande, Team Lead

Chris Zarza, Graphic Design

Jeremiah Baker, Web Marketing, Graphic Design
Jeremiah is an Internet Marketing Specialist with many years of experience in
planning, developing, and implementing Internet marketing strategies and
eCommerce systems. He is also an accomplished user interface designer who has
written a Web design course that is being taught in over 50 cities throughout
the U.S. He specializes in driving traffic to websites and writing effective
sales copy to convert these leads into paying customers. He also specializes in
designing user-friendly websites that are fast loading and easy to navigate. His
most recent achievement was helping a small eCommerce company generate over
$270,000 in their first 7 weeks of being online. Jeremiah has consulted with
such firms as: Hewlett-Packard, Nokia, Honeywell, Equifax, Nervewire and many
